Born and bred in China, I moved to Michigan alone when I was 17, trying to strike out my own way here in this country. Gratefully I have met some good friends who have made this path more joy than tears.
My journey with visuals began with a camera. I started to take photos back in high school. I was fascinated by the world behind that little box, and I still am after 10 years. Looking back, camera helped me with storytelling and how to direct a shoot.
I’m a thinker, I like to have meaningful conversations and build real connections with people. I think that’s where great ideas sparkle from. I like reading. Reading helps me know better, although I don’t think I have read enough books recently.
I like the advertising world because every work we did reflect our vision and effort toward a better world. Good advertising brings out the best of the brand to meet the hope of consumers. And I want to be a part of the good.
